What is ExpressPay?

ExpressPay authorizes transaction using contactless technology. With ExpressPay, you can pay for things in the time it takes to say "Express Pay". When you have the ExpressPay feature built in on your card, you can make everyday purchases like the Sunday paper or a soda without swiping your Card. So your card never leaves your hand. No swiping. No signing.*

How do you know if you can use ExpressPay?

  • Look for the ExpressPay logo on the back of your Card.
  • Check the reader for the contactless symbol
  • Hold you're Card up to the reader, and you are on your way!

How does ExpressPay work?

ExpressPay is an encrypted computer chip that is built into your Card or other payment device. The ExpressPay chip transfers payment information wirelessly when you hold your Card to the contactless reader. You do not need to swipe and your Card does not leave your possession.

  • There’s no slip to sign.
  • ExpressPay uses technology that helps make transactions safe and secure.
  • You can continue to earn points or cash back for purchases made on eligible Cards.
