PayPass makes the transaction process simpler and quicker for all - at fast food restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, and more.

Built-in technology
The MasterCard PayPass card has built-in chip and antenna technology, as well as a standard magnetic stripe. The card and specially equipped PayPass terminals communicate payment card details using very short range radio waves.

100% safe and secure - just like your traditional card
Your card never leaves your hand. And you get the same level of security that you've been accustomed to: $0 liability on unauthorized purchases and a receipt for every purchase. The chip within your MasterCard PayPass card has the same information as that on the magnetic strip of your card. Current MasterCard and Issuer privacy and confidentiality rules apply as per your current cardholder agreement.

MasterCard PayPass is a simpler way to pay at select merchant at a rapidly growing number of location. MasterCard PayPass cards can also be used in the traditional way at any one of the over 30 million MasterCard acceptance locations around the world.
