How it Works
Chase cards with blink will allow cardmembers to simply hold their card near a point-of-sale terminal at checkout, instead of swiping their card or handing it to a store cashier.
As cardmembers hold their Chase card with blink near the terminal, the point-of-sale terminal will quickly emit a tone and light up – or blink to signal payment confirmation.
Chase cards with blink include a technology that is embedded in the card and read by a point-of sale terminal. To enable quick and convenient payments, Chase cards with blink hold the same data and security features that enable traditional credit card transactions.

Beginning this summer, cardmembers (on a market-by-market basis) may use Chase cards with blink everyday at thousands of locations to quickly make purchases where they might normally use cash.
